Meet Morgan
I'm Morgan — a perinatal and postpartum counselor, and birth doula, based in Malmö, Sweden.
My work sits at the intersection of psychology and the lived experience of supporting new parenthood. I hold an bachelor’s degree in psychology from Fordham University and a master's in psychology from The New School (2026), and have studied perinatal mental health under Dr. Catherine Monk at Columbia University — a leading researcher in maternal wellbeing and the psychological experience of birth.
Before and during my graduate training, I spent two years working on a suicide crisis line, where I developed a deep understanding of trauma, emotional dysregulation, and what it means to hold space for someone in their most vulnerable moments. That work quietly shaped everything I do — the way I listen, the way I stay present, and the belief that no feeling is too much to bring into the room.
I completed my doula certification in 2023 through Carriage House Birth in Brooklyn, and carry over a decade of experience supporting families through the earliest stages of life as a nanny.
I offer postpartum and prenatal counseling, pregnancy loss & infertility support, partner advocacy, and — when my skills are requested — birth doula care & birth photography.
Every mother deserves consistency. The medical system rarely provides it — you may see a different midwife at every appointment, several nurses at delivery, a different face each time you ask a question that matters. But consistency in emotional support isn't a luxury. It's what allows you to be honest, and to process everything you’re carrying — not just a baby.
That's what I offer. Someone who shows up the same way every time — not as a friend with their own fears about your birth, not as a family member with opinions about your choices, but as someone with no skin in the game. Someone who is entirely, only, on your side.
